A wonderful celebration of that great country icon, the agricultural show. Ally sets off to the show with her beloved pet cow, Belle, who must be sold as the family is short of money The musical showcases all the terrific elements of a country carnival; the merry go round, the chicken reel, the rodeo, the salute to ‘blue jeans’ and lots of items set in side show alley. The culmination is the ‘Grand Parade’ where everyone gathers to see who takes out the blue ribbon. Can Belle be saved by winning the prize? Terrific country music with some extra pizazz that’s appealing to young people. A great show for a whole school to stage as it lends itself to the planning of some terrific ‘extra events’ or fund raising. Turn your school into a carnival or fete for a week with cake bake-offs, side show alley games, pet parade, a country dance, craft shows and culminate the special week with ‘Blue Ribbon Belle’ A great time will be had by all!
