Scabiosa, the kingdom’s bad fairy is furious when she is not invited to the royal party to celebrate Princess Betty’s birth. She sets out to make as much trouble as possible and promises to send the whole kingdom to sleep for 100 years on Princess Betty’s 20th birthday. The kingdom anxiously watches Betty grow into a very unpleasant Princess who bites her royal nanny, listens to punk music and eats junk food! Scabiosa gate crashes the Princess’s 20th birthday party hiding in a giant present. Everyone sleeps and only the kingdom’s sickeningly good fairy Angelica, can save the kingdom. A Prince must be found to wake the Princess. The hundred year rockers count down the years. Algelica places ads in all the papers and a parade of unsuitable candidates apply including the “king” looking remarkably like Elvis. Meanwhile, Scabiosa attempts to sabotage Angelica’s plans by encouraging a weird assortment of characters bent on mischief to raid the royal palace. The search is over when a motor bike riding prince arrives to wake Princess Betty!
