Princess Jane has not smiled for years. The king and queen search the kingdom for the answer to her woes. The winner of the Search for a Smile Quest will be offered the prize of a chest of golden coins. The press reporters gather to spread the word. People from all over the kingdom come to offer suggestions. Dr. Dot comes to try to fix the Princess’s funny bone. Perhaps the Princess’s endorphins are not moving? Experts in humour, confidence and positive attitude try to lend a hand. The story has a lovely finale that involves the whole cast. Can be staged as a fantasy or in a contemporary style with a modern princess and kingdom. A fabulous and funny fantasy staged in simple format with different groups performing each of the musical items. Great for a whole school production. . Lots of different music styles including pop, rock, chorus line and rap.. A simple storyline links the items.
