Roy Pacer is a mythical Australian sporting hero who now resides as a statue in the park. Roy is upset as the park authorities want to replace him with a fountain! The local kids band together to save Roy. The money will be raised by competing for first prize in a 20km regional relay. They have no sporting experience and battle cravings for junk food, internal squabbling and lack of commitment as they mould themselves into a fit and fantastic team. The whole town is inspired and one of the local traders fits them with terrific pink uniforms. They become the Pink Pacers! Roy himself is even able to help them with his magical qualities. This show celebrates friendship, courage and living your dreams.
